www.dietcancer.com This site is part of our modest effort to contribute to the dissemination of scientific information, developed by research groups from all over then world and sponsored by many public, private and governmental agencies. This includes for example: The National Cancer Institute in the USA, Athens School of Public Health, Greece; Rowett Research Institute, Aberdeen, Scotland, and many others detailed in this web site as research references in the section Research Abstracts. All these studies have been published in peer reviewed Journals of Medicine such as the American Journal for Clinical Nutrition, Cancer Research, Journal of The National Cancer Institute, Journal of The American Medical Association (JAMA) and many others. All the studies we have highlighted in this web site, are relating to the dietary and the nutritional factors to which special consideration needs to be given when designing dietary interventions for the treatment and prevention of human cancer. If the knowledge, recommendations and results of the more than 300 epidemiological and clinical studies relating to dietary interventions in cancer prevention were followed, understood and applied, this year alone, more than one million children, young mothers, fathers and sisters, that we love and miss, would be alive today and with us now. This is allowed to happen, because we find it hard to believe that cancer, with such a devastating appearance, can have such a basic origin and straight forward approach to prevent and treat it. We tend to disregard nature’s own assets, which are there to take care of and heal human life. ”Research Abstracts” is a selection of 20 abstracts and selected parahraphs on the subject Nutritional Oncology. “Selected Section” These is a selection of a main statements from the text of each one of the above 20 selected articles. “Dietary Carcinogens”This is a selection of abstracts on reserach and advice foods and form of cooking that cancer patients shopuld avoid.
